“JAY WAS AMAZING! Before our event he was very easy to communicate with through email. Always responded quickly and was helpful. He fully understood our personalities and the atmosphere we were going for. He was accommodating so much so that he watched a TV show we asked him to watch so he would understand how we wanted to be introduced. He was funny, professional, prompt, kept the flow moving and was not corny (my biggest fear with DJs). I am sad our wedding is over because now it means we won't have Jay reaching out to us - honestly he became one of our friends through this because he was that awesome! Everyone should use Jay!”

Jay was always available to answer questions and have a conversation about wedding details at any point in the months leading up to our wedding: by phone, by video-chat, and sitting at a table in person. He really takes the time to make sure he has all of the tiny details of your vision for your day spot on. Jay was absolutely perfect the entire time at our wedding and kept the dance floor going up through the very last song at the reception. He's super energetic and even gets out on the dance floor for line dances which impressed tons of our guests!! And just to give you an idea of how he pays attention to the details, parts of our wedding had a subtle Star Wars theme to it, so he had the Cantina music from the movie playing at the end of the night when he was taking down his equipment. He had a particularly tough job having to MC a wedding during COVID and balanced keeping people entertained while also not pushing people to get too close to one another which we really appreciated. “DJ Jay from Main Event Entertainment was our wedding DJ on October 5th. He was amazing!! We met with him a few weeks before the wedding (on Google Hangouts, so we didn't have to drive anywhere, and at a time that was convenient for us) and we told him what our vision was for the reception. He could not have met our vision more perfectly! We had all age groups at the wedding, from infants and toddlers to 80+, and EVERYONE enjoyed the music and kept the dance floor full!! He kept things at the perfect level and knew just went to make announcements or switch things up.
